All Bar One Vegan Review | Vegan Edinburgh

Review analysis
food   menu

While they already have a few vegan options on their food menu, they have extended their vegan offering for Veganuary and it has proven so popular that they are running it all the way to the end of February.

During All Bar One’s Veganuary campaign, they have a really robust separate vegan menu full of tempting choices.

The dishes that are also on the full menu are marked with an asterisk*, so you can get the idea of what will be available once the Veganuary promotion ends.

It’s also worth noting that All Bar One have a full vegan drink menu, including a selection of vegan wines.

The menu was really varied, with exotic options like the supergreen laksa sitting comfortably beside surefire favourites like the vegan burger.

Henderson's Salad Table Restaurant Review | Vegan Edinburgh

Review analysis
food   menu

Henderson’s Salad Table, tucked just below ground level on Hanover Street, is a well-known name with everyone in Edinburgh.

Even though it is a vegetarian restaurant – omnivores, vegans and vegetarians alike are all well aware of its reputation.

Henderson’s Salad Table has a completely vegetarian menu, with vegan options clearly labelled.

The menu has been slightly updated since I took the pictures at my last visit, but the dishes below should give you an idea of what to expect: Hendersons Salad Table restaurant is an institution in Edinburgh, so this place is always going to be a solid bet for lunch or dinner.

Yes, the restaurant is vegetarian, but I would say around 75% of the menu is vegan or can be made vegan – so you won’t be stuck for choice.

The Edinburgh Restaurant Festival is set to delight foodies in the capital once again as it returns for its fourth year Food, glorious food, that’s what February in the Capital will be all about, as the fourth Edinburgh Restaurant Festival finds more than 20 city eateries creating the ultimate foodie experiences.

In a city that boasts more restaurants per head of population than any other in the UK, the highlight of this year’s Festival is a ticketed five-course Moveable Feast, which will see diners travel to five very different restaurants, enjoying a course in each.

Explaining the restaurant’s involvement in the Festival, general manager Eric Garnier said: “When the opportunity arose to be a part of Essential Edinburgh’s initiative we knew we wanted to do something special.

NOW in its fourth year, The Edinburgh Restaurant Festival celebrates international cuisine, world-class service and Scottish hospitality.

“Food and drink is an extremely important and growing part of our economy, and the Festival is a wonderful way to highlight our blossoming restaurant scene and showcase the breadth and diversity that is now on offer.
